1. Introduction
These Competition Rules govern all football prediction competitions operated through AI Premier League Predictor, a platform operated by Big Noise Media Ltd (company number 13506460).
Competitions are skill-based prediction competitions. There are no odds and no wagering. No prizes are awarded by random chance or lottery.
They explain how competitions operate, how Prediction Points are awarded, how rankings are calculated and how winners are determined.
These Competition Rules form part of the Platform's Terms & Conditions.
By entering any competition, you agree to comply with:
- •Terms & Conditions
- •Privacy Policy
- •Cookie Policy
- •Prize Policy
- •Champion Pass Terms (where applicable)
- •Responsible Participation Policy
- •Any competition-specific rules published for a particular competition
2. Competition Philosophy
AI Premier League Predictor is built around competitive football prediction based on knowledge, analysis and consistency.
Success within the Platform is determined by participants' ability to accurately predict football match results over multiple fixtures using the published scoring system.
All competitions are administered using objective scoring rules applied consistently to all eligible participants.
3. Competition Types
The Platform may offer one or more of the following competitions.
Free Pass
A free-to-enter prediction competition available to eligible registered users.
Weekly Prediction Competition
A paid weekly football prediction competition operated in accordance with these Competition Rules and the Weekly Pass Rules.
Champion Pass Championship
A season-long championship available to eligible Champion Pass members.
Creator Leagues
Private or public leagues operated by approved content creators.
Creator Leagues follow these Competition Rules unless specific additional rules are published.
Future Competitions
The Platform may introduce additional competitions in the future.
Any additional competition will become subject to these Competition Rules together with any competition-specific rules published for that competition.
4. Eligibility
To participate you must:
- •Hold a valid Platform account.
- •Meet the minimum age requirements for the relevant competition.
- •Meet any published eligibility requirements.
- •Comply with these Competition Rules.
- •Comply with the Platform Terms & Conditions.
Some competitions may have additional eligibility requirements including:
- •Country restrictions.
- •Membership requirements.
- •Identity verification.
- •Entry deadlines.
5. One Account Rule
Each individual may maintain only one personal Platform account unless expressly authorised.
Entries submitted using multiple accounts may be investigated.
Where a breach is confirmed, affected entries may be declared ineligible in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.
6. Competition Week
Unless a competition expressly states otherwise, a Week Pass Competition Week opens at 09:00 on Monday and closes at 23:55 on Sunday, UK time (Europe/London timezone).
The exact opening and closing times for each Week Pass are displayed on the Weekly Prediction Competition page and form part of that Matchweek’s published entry terms.
Individual fixture predictions continue to lock at their respective scheduled kick-off times in accordance with these Competition Rules.
7. Official Time
All deadlines are determined solely by the official Platform server time.
The time displayed on a user's device or browser will not determine whether a prediction has been submitted before a deadline.
8. Competition Entry
Eligible users may enter competitions in accordance with the published entry requirements.
Each competition may have:
- •Entry deadlines.
- •Membership requirements.
- •Entry fees.
- •Maximum entries.
- •Country restrictions.
- •Prize eligibility requirements.
Entry into one competition does not automatically enter a user into any other competition unless expressly stated.
9. Prediction Submission
Predictions may be submitted through the Platform before the applicable fixture deadline.
Users are responsible for checking that their predictions have been successfully submitted before the prediction lock time.
10. Prediction Changes
Predictions may be edited at any time before the relevant fixture locks.
Once a fixture has locked:
- •Predictions cannot be edited.
- •Predictions cannot be replaced.
- •Predictions cannot be withdrawn.
This rule applies equally to all participants.
11. Prediction Lock
Each fixture locks automatically at its scheduled official kick-off time.
If an official fixture time changes before kick-off, the prediction lock will move to the revised official kick-off time where reasonably practicable.
If exceptional circumstances require manual intervention, the Platform may adjust prediction lock times to preserve fairness for all participants.
12. One Prediction Per Fixture
Each eligible account may submit only one prediction for each fixture.
The most recent prediction successfully saved before the prediction lock time will be treated as the user's official prediction.
13. Official Match Result
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular competition, scoring is based only on the official full-time result consisting of:
- •90 minutes.
- •Added injury time.
The following are not included for scoring purposes:
- •Extra time.
- •Penalty shoot-outs.
- •Replays.
- •Golden goal.
- •Silver goal.
- •Any other additional playing period.
14. Official Results Source
Match results used for scoring will be taken from the Platform's nominated official football data provider or, where necessary, an equivalent provider.
The official result recorded by the Platform will be used for all scoring calculations.
15. Scoring System
Unless otherwise stated, Prediction Points are awarded as follows:
- •Correct match result (home win, draw or away win): 3 points
- •Correct goal difference (bonus): +2 points
- •Exact score (bonus): +3 points
Maximum available points for a single fixture:
8 Prediction Points
An incorrect result scores 0 points.
Prediction Points determine competition rankings unless the rules for a particular competition state otherwise.
16. Leaderboards
Leaderboards are generated automatically using the published scoring system.
Separate leaderboards may exist for:
- •Global rankings.
- •Free Pass.
- •Weekly Pass.
- •Champion Pass Championship.
- •Creator Leagues.
- •Future competitions.
Leaderboards are updated following confirmation of official match results.
Certain general Platform leaderboards may include Simulated Participants for comparative and gameplay purposes. Simulated Participants are excluded from prize determination and genuine registered-user statistics.
17. AI Benchmark
AL GORITHIM is the Platform's non-human AI benchmark and is separate from any Simulated Participant personas. AL does not occupy an eligible human prize position and cannot receive cash prizes or rewards.
For a Week Pass competition using the DR-049 prize model, AL also acts as the published benchmark for the conditional Beat AL GORITHIM bonus. The £500 bonus is unlocked only when the winning eligible human Prediction Points score is strictly greater than AL's verified score for the same eligible fixture set. A tie with AL does not unlock the bonus.
AL's use as a bonus benchmark does not change the underlying human Prediction Points scoring system or the order of the human leaderboard.
18. Competition Integrity
The Platform is committed to ensuring that all competitions are administered fairly, consistently and transparently.
All participants are expected to compete honestly and in accordance with these Competition Rules.
Any activity reasonably believed to compromise the integrity of a competition may be investigated in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.
19. Competition Fairness
All competitions are administered using the same published rules for every participant.
No user will receive preferential treatment, additional Prediction Points or altered competition conditions unless expressly stated within the published Competition Rules.
The Platform will administer competitions fairly, consistently and transparently.
20. Competition Week Examples
Examples only.
Example 1:
Week Pass entry window:
Monday 09:00
↓
Sunday 23:55
Each included fixture prediction locks separately at its scheduled kick-off time.
Example 2:
Liverpool v Arsenal
Originally scheduled:
Sunday
↓
Moved to Wednesday
The Platform will administer the fixture in accordance with the published postponed/rescheduled-fixture rules and the applicable Matchweek terms.
21. Postponed Fixtures
Where a fixture is officially postponed before completion, it will not normally be scored as part of its original Competition Week.
Instead, it will become part of the Competition Week in which the fixture is officially played.
22. Rescheduled Fixtures
If a fixture is rearranged to a different date:
- •the fixture moves with it;
- •Prediction Points are awarded only when the fixture is officially completed;
- •the fixture becomes part of the Competition Week in which it is played.
23. Abandoned Fixtures
If a fixture is abandoned before the official full-time result:
the Platform may:
- •wait for the official replay or continuation;
- •move the fixture into a later Competition Week;
- •remove the fixture from scoring if no official result is produced.
The approach taken will apply equally to every participant.
24. Cancelled Fixtures
Where a fixture is permanently cancelled and no official result is produced:
- •the fixture will not award Prediction Points;
- •the fixture will be removed from competition scoring;
- •no participant will receive points for that fixture.
25. Existing Predictions
If you submitted a prediction for a fixture that is later:
- •postponed;
- •abandoned;
- •cancelled;
- •suspended;
- •rescheduled;
your previous prediction becomes void.
You may submit a replacement prediction before the prediction deadline applicable to the Competition Week in which the fixture is actually played.
If no replacement prediction is submitted before the applicable deadline, no Prediction Points will be awarded for that fixture.
26. Fixture Time Changes
Official fixture kick-off times may occasionally change.
Where reasonably practicable:
Prediction Lock will automatically move to the revised official kick-off time.
The Platform is not responsible for late predictions submitted after the revised Prediction Lock has taken effect.
27. Official Fixture Information
Fixture information is supplied by third-party football data providers.
Fixture dates and kick-off times may change without notice.
Users remain responsible for checking fixture information before Prediction Lock.
28. Scoring Confirmation
Prediction Points are normally awarded after:
- •the official match result has been confirmed;
- •the Platform has processed the result;
- •the scoring engine has completed calculation.
Leaderboards update automatically after scoring has been completed.
29. Temporary Scores
Scores displayed immediately after matches may be provisional.
Where an official correction or technical issue occurs, Prediction Points may be recalculated.
30. Official Corrections
If the official competition organiser later changes a match result or officially amends the recorded result, the Platform may:
- •recalculate Prediction Points;
- •correct leaderboards;
- •adjust rankings;
- •update historical competition records.
These corrections will apply equally to all users.
31. Technical Errors
If a technical error affects:
- •predictions;
- •scoring;
- •leaderboards;
- •rankings;
- •fixtures;
- •competition administration;
the Platform may investigate and take reasonable corrective action.
Corrective action may include:
- •recalculating scores;
- •correcting leaderboards;
- •extending deadlines;
- •temporarily suspending competitions;
- •replaying affected competitions where appropriate.
32. Audit Trail
The Platform maintains records including:
- •prediction timestamps;
- •fixture lock times;
- •scoring history;
- •competition logs;
- •leaderboard history.
These records may be used when investigating disputes.
33. Competition Integrity Investigations
Where we reasonably believe competition integrity may have been compromised, we may investigate matters including:
- •multiple accounts;
- •collusion;
- •manipulated predictions;
- •fraudulent activity;
- •technical abuse;
- •automated submissions;
- •unauthorised software.
Investigations will be carried out fairly and consistently.
34. Competition Administration
To preserve fairness, the Platform may reasonably:
- •extend deadlines;
- •postpone competitions;
- •suspend competitions;
- •restart competitions;
- •merge competitions;
- •split competitions;
- •amend competition administration following exceptional circumstances.
Any action will be applied consistently to all affected participants.
35. Force Majeure
Competitions may be affected by events outside our reasonable control including:
- •natural disasters;
- •pandemics;
- •cyber attacks;
- •widespread internet outages;
- •government action;
- •suspension of football competitions;
- •national emergencies.
Where reasonably practicable, competitions will resume or be administered fairly once circumstances permit.
36. Official Platform Records
Platform records are normally treated as the official record of:
- •prediction submissions;
- •prediction timestamps;
- •competition entries;
- •scoring calculations;
- •leaderboards.
These records may be relied upon when resolving disputes unless a clear technical error is identified.
37. Equality of Treatment
All participants are subject to the same:
- •scoring rules;
- •prediction deadlines;
- •competition deadlines;
- •tie-break procedures;
- •eligibility requirements.
The Platform does not manually favour individual participants.
38. Good Faith
All participants are expected to compete honestly, fairly and in good faith.
Behaviour intended to undermine the fairness or integrity of competitions may result in action under the Platform Terms & Conditions.
39. Interpretation
Where uncertainty exists regarding the operation of these Competition Rules, the Platform will interpret the rules reasonably, consistently and in accordance with their intended purpose of preserving fair competition for all participants.
40. Premier League Calendar Protection
Football fixtures and competition schedules are supplied by third parties and may change during the season.
Big Noise Media Ltd may amend fixture dates, scoring windows, gameweeks, deadlines, competition schedules, postponed fixtures, abandoned fixtures, rescheduled fixtures and season timelines where reasonably necessary.
Such adjustments do not create any compensation obligation to any participant.
By entering any competition you accept that competition schedules may change during the season and that the timing of fixtures, scoring windows and deadlines may be amended in accordance with these Competition Rules.
